I'm Leaving, on an Amtrak Train One of my least favorite things as an adult is having to get stuff out of the garbage disposal. I hate putting my hand in there. It is so icky, and sometimes I even get this macabre image of my hand getting ground up. No matter how certain I am that the switch won't get flipped. And here is my Lisetta, because she is so cute and likes it when I take her picture. The first one she has her dukes up. This is something Azaya has been teaching them, because she thinks it's cute. Here in this one, Lisetta struck a pose of her creation, and then asked me to take a picture. I'm leaving for San Diego tonight for the ACS conference. Our whole family is going, and we're combining it with a visit with our old neighbors. We are really looking forward to seeing them. We're pulling Azaya out of school for the trip. I'm ignoring the guilt from that. After all, she doesn't miss school very often. It kind of sucks that the next two weeks is spring break, and she won't have school, but the conference wasn't planned around me. And now, I will direct you to the ACS website so that you can study the molecule of the week. It's my kind of molecule! |
